How to Shorten Web URL/Links

You've probably been seeing some very short web links and have been wondering “how do I shorten my link?”
I sure know how it feels and looks when you have one detailed elongated URL.
Shortening your URLs makes them easier and more comfortable to share.
There are a number of online URL shortening consoles. Needless to say, shortening your url often makes your audience perceive the link to be spammy, and will most likely just scroll past it without clicking
How do you avoid being perceived as spammy when you have a safe link to share?
You must always ensure to use trusted platforms that’ll shorten your links into clean, trusted and clickable URLs.
Google URL Shortener is my most preferred but you must be an existing user, as unfortunately, Google has shut down support for goo.gl URL shortener for newcomer.
Here's my second most preferred and your best alternative
Bitly ...
Visit the Bitly URL shortener site at bitly.com
Write or paste your URL in the Shorten your link box.
Click Shorten.
...and that's it.
You can now copy your shortened URL and paste it where you want.
As I mentioned earlier, there are other options available, but bitly is actually the most common and trusted after goo.gl
